概要

"Second Coming（セカンド・カミング）"はマーベルコミックスのクロスオーバータイトル。
"Messiah Complex（メシア・コンプレックス）、"Messiah War（メシア・ウォー）"に続くいわゆる「メシア三部作」の完結編。

未来から帰還したケーブルとホープを巡り、ユートピアで暮らすミュータントたちと、バスチオン（人工知能を持った進化型のセンチネル）率いるミュータント排斥主義者との闘いを描く。

あらすじ

未来の世界からケーブルとホープが帰還した。
一方、バスチオンはステファン・ラング、ボリバー・トラスク、ウィリアム・ストライカー、グレイドン・クリード、キャメロン・ホッジら高名なミュータント排斥主義者を集結させホープの抹殺を命じた。

対ミュータント戦のエキスパートたちとの闘いの中で、X-MENたちは大きな犠牲を払いながらもホープをユートピアに匿うことに成功。
しかし、バスチオンはX-MENたちの想像を上回る策謀を巡らし、ミュータントたちを絶望的に追い詰めて行く……
