  • Ann:
Thank you for many music clips! I love music, and I'm pleased with your introduction of Hungarian musi. I like the one,NOX! I enjoyed it and searched their another PV :D I was introduced Hun-pop from huppers, and I fell they have common in features(I can't point them). They learned from traditonal Hungalian tastes, dose'nt they?

Japanese POPs are infuluenced much by western music. But I feel very domestic Japanese DNA from them :) For examply, sakura(Cherry Blossom) is a major motif of Japanese pop.

Sakura / Ketsume ishi http://youtube.com/watch?v=j5SbtJDC-mc (1:10 start music)

Thank you for the videos too, I like them, especially the first one (Sakura / Ketsume ishi). I think I have seen that girl somewhere, maybe in a movie. Is she an actor?

  • fromKecskemét:
Yeah, I think they are typical Japanese workers(lol) About manga, it's very difficult question, same as "What is the most popular painter" or "What is the best athlete?". I try to answer, but It's just my opinion.
    1)Well known manga, Top3.
    Sazae-san http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sazaesan
    Astro Boy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astro_boy
    Doraemon, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doraemon
Almost all japanese know them. They are our national characters.
  • 2)Popular among 10-30 agers. Top3
    Slum Dunk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slam_Dunk_%28manga%29
    Dragon Ball http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Ball
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JoJo%27s_Bizarre_Adventure&br()They are very popular among our generations. I have a episode about Slum Dunk. The famous words of Slum Dunk is quoted on our board again and again during GAME3 and GAME4. "If you give up, it's time to end the game".
    Original : http://click.hitobashira.org/up/src/hanocha2232.jpg
    Ascii Art: http://click.hitobashira.org/up/src/hanocha2233.jpg
Almost all clickers know the famous words! :D -- (JP cklicker) 2007-06-19 08:26:38
  • 3)Popular among VIPPERs, Top3
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tjWrkg_7K8
    Genesis of Aquarion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWBOPJ0srjI
    Rozen Maiden http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPp2cvFaArI
Vipper are generally maniac to manga and anime. They know well the current fashion of Otaku culture. Of course not all VIPPERs are Otaku.
  • The last your question, "You read manga in adultness?". Not all adults read monga, but many adults read manga. I don't it's funny, cause Japanese manga culture is excellent from the view point of quality, quantitiy, and variety. Manga is sustained by many talented artists. If they are born in another country, they would become movie maker or painter. And truely enormous manga is published in Japan. There are manga for fashionable 20's girl, for mother who have little child, for middle age bussinessman... and so on. We can find favorite manga by our age :D
Japanese often claims that "Japan is not just a country of Otaku!". Of course it's ture and I agree with it.But it's undoubtfuly Japan is the most Otaku county in the world :D
I'm happy if my information is useful for you. -- (JP cklicker) 2007-06-19 08:31:30

  • I'm happy that you are pleased with :D
This is another PV, same artist and director.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh0ya2OqMJc
And I found far better encoding video of Sakura Drops.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0nGnUUK8LM

The girl in the PV(Sakura/Ketsume ishi) is the fashion model.
I don't know her so much, but she hasn't act in the famous movie.

By the way, NOX and other Hunaglian music remind me of assian beat. It's very interesting for me. I think music is a good way to introduce our culture each other, cause music is beyond the wall of language. Thank you for your posting,Ann :D (And please introduce us more Hungalian music, HUPPERs!) -- (JP clicker) 2007-06-19 09:42:08

  • The only anime i know is Dragonball. I like it very much, i've seen all the episodes, but I heard that in Japan it is not so popular. So i'm glad to see that here among one of the top 3s. :)
In Hungary the only anime was Dragon Ball on TV until it was banned because of the violence (and because some stupid kid jumped out the window imaging that he can fly). So in Hunagry there are many fan sites for dragon ball, and all the stupid kids who watched the series back then, are now grown up, and wanna see the end of the story. :) So around my age (21) peolpe know only this anime, and watch it with nostalgic feelings, and pleasure. This anime is reminding us to our childhood, when after school we ran home to watch dragon baaaall :) -- (Rolley) 2007-06-19 22:30:14
  • No, it's not true. We have own anime TV channel, called A+ (it will be renaimed to Animax at July) since 2004. So a lot of anime running now in Hungary. The Dragonball was the first, I guess in 1990s (not in A+, of course). And we have other channels, what aired anime too, but not all time. We have anime DVD too (f.e. InuYasha, Cowboy Bebop... etc). And I wrote earlier that the first manga published in last year and the first hentai manga will be published in this year (Otsuka Hiroki - Last Pirontan), so we shape... :D Sorry Rolley, but maybe I misunderstood you. -- (fromKecskemét) 2007-06-20 00:49:43

I've just found this guest book:)I joined in the game until the 2nd round, but now i became passiver. maybe because of FW. But we don't give up!:)
    I have a questions:
1.how are the keyboards in Japan looks like? they had letters, like a,b,c or kanjis? or both?
2.is it true, that your language is very difficult (the kanjis), and it needs lots of years to learn it?
3.I have a bonsai (serissa):) An average family in Japan has bonsai? Is it common in your gardens, or just gardeners have?
    Thanks for your answers!
    let's go to clicking!:)

    1. both and you can write japanese perfectly with a hungarian keyboard too.

  • Do not be so silly. Such kind of report of particular census usually make lots of junk.
Because someone always wants to report what they want, although it were not true...

    Here are something interesting.
http://news.livedoor.com/article/detail/2260895/&br()http://www2.ttcn.ne.jp/honkawa/4653.html&br()The first article says that in Japan, there are lots of relatively poverty people (13.5%, next to America(13.7%)).
However the second says that in Japan only 5% people can not buy necessaries because of poverty.

So I have a question: Japan is (relatively) poverty country or not?
Maybe only from these data, we could not find something true.
But, you know, there many people who want to speak vegetable, or to make elephant from flea (these are Hungarian expression :))
Be skeptic, it is the best way for thinking. -- (hino) 2007-07-13 22:14:03

  • You know I met with such thing before about Japan. An article says this, and the second is the opposite. ( Actually about ehh... the... khm... sexual life of a japanese <I know, I know, curiosity killed the cat, but still...>)
And you know everybody's life is different. My life is for example not the best. The people I met, and the things happened with me, because of that I really hated hungarians, my own country. Now I'm hate just my city, because it's sh*t. But maybe not, just I have agoraphobia. ( Why I'm telling this to everyone?) -- (WiLL from Hungary (I have agoraphobia)) 2007-07-14 16:38:12
